Options for day tours from Arad
Near Arad there is one of the only 4 catholic minor basilica (called Maria Radna) which was recently renovated and it is very interesting place to visit in the Western Romania.
Between this basilica and Timisoara there is the only circular village in Romania called Charlottenburg. Its German-sounding name will raise some questions and during the tour you will get your answers.
Near Oradea there are many springs with thermal water so you can also plan some time at one of the many spas.
Back towards Arad you can pass by a local vineyard and try some of their local wines (possible with a group of at least 4 people).

Me and my group had a private day trip which was flexible in every aspect. The guide was passionate and had many detailed background stories from the area, and made sure everyone got a rich experience from the trip. I can recommend their day tours to everyone visiting Romania. They will guarantee an experience you will not forget soon.
